Ok I couldn’t hold back the temptation to post about this, but fuck it.
Yesterday President Obama FINALLY publicly voiced his support for same-sex marriage. Good for him. But his timing was awful. Granted, he did put ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ to an end but this sudden change of heart during an election year really pisses me off. Does he really support same-sex marriage or does he just want votes? Sadly I think he just pandered to a huge demographic that will guarantee him a 2nd term. There’s no doubt he will be re-elected easily in 2012. The last thing this country needs is another religious conservatard that wears magic underwear and thinks that corporations are people. What kind of twisted thinking is that?
I am completely in support of same-sex marriage and my best friends are gay and proud of it and I am more proud to be their friend and stand in support of them and their rights. The people LBGT community are NOT bargaining chips.
What is so fucking scary about same-sex relationships? How can same-sex marriage be harmful to ‘traditional families’ when the divorce rate for these so-called families is so high? Here’s a solution: Make divorce illegal or give heavy fines and jail time to people of any orientation to people who get divorced, fair treatment.
There is no point of taking vows of ‘till death do you part’ in front of your family and ‘god’ if you’re going to decide one day that it just ain’t working and rely on ‘secular laws’ to dissolve those vows? Fucking hypocrites!
Another thing, the wedding industry is a multi-billion dollar JOB CREATOR! Weddings AND divorces generate money. Isn’t that what the so-called “United” States needs right now? Money AND Jobs? Well, give homosexuals the same rights and it will bring in a lot of much needed money and jobs to somehow grow the economy. If hateful, homophobic, xenophonic Republicunts can’t agree on human rights then they should at least see the dollar signs.
Who knows what will happen at this point. Just remember folks, President Obama only voiced his ‘support’ for same-sex marriage, he didn’t say what his next steps are. Don’t celebrate yet because it’s very hard to trust what ANY of these politicians say, especially during an election year.

I absolutely sincerely HATE it when people come to the U.S. and do everything to try to make it except learning the English language. I know that the U.S. does not have an official language and that the wetbacks and the redskins lived here first but fuck, how can people come here, legally but mostly otherwise, live here for 50+ and not know how to speak English? What is so fucking hard about that? Fuck you and your cultural pride. Learn some English or get the fuck out.
